Boy, the news media sure exhibited a short shelf life after the 'confession'.

Equal Time
I'd feel a lot better about this if Baseball, Football (US and European versions), Tennis, etc. got the same level of scrutiny as bike racing. How did we get singled out for such rapt attention while they slip under the public radar of indignation?

I dunno
In the Lamestream media, I've seen more coverage of Bonds and Clemens, to name two, than any cycling issue, including Lance.
As to short shelf life, I haven't heard of any opinion that Lance's true confession was truthful, effective, or helpful to him in any way. I think he made things worse (in the court of public opinion anyway; I'll leave the legal implications to others).

I have deer antlers all over my house. Maybe I should lick them.

Deer Antler & Ray Lewis
Y'all sort of beat me to the story, sort of. ;-)
During the Super Bowl media day Tuesday a story broke that Ray Lewis, hero, bell ringer, took deer antler supplements to heal a triceps injury that kept him sidelined 11 weeks this season. It turns out ground deer antler has a substance that is on the NFL banned PED list.
Lance connection:
Repeated by Raven's staff over and over on media day: "RAY HAS NEVER TESTED POSITIVE."
