Happy New Year to all.

Started the year off with a Wahoo sprint workout that kicked my butt, then saw “A Complete Unknown” - highly recommended, particularly for Dylan fans like me.

HNY all. Hoping for more progress in 25.

24 was pretty good. 11339.03mi at 19.8mph average. That's 1200mi more and 1.1mph faster than 23. FTP went from 300 to 385. Training has been fractured for the past few weeks so I have some rebuilding to do but if I can get back on track I'm hoping for masters nationals and maybe worlds this year if I can get my weight down and power up a bit more.

Nice numbers grasshopper, shows lots of work. I'd be lucky to hang with you on a recovery day. Yours not mine. ;)

Actually just got off Zoom meet with Dr. Sez I can do anything pretty much but back off if any discomfort.

Between all the off bike time 3 time last 1/2 of the year, Laser Lithotripsy, Quad crush, and this Hernia surgery, I lost weeks each time. And on 2 of those I couldn't use the trainer. So I feel ready to go, as in up the FTP on the trainer to normal ranges. Maybe get outside between the wet, but less likely.

The Dr. sitting there with shoulder sling from rotator cuff surgery. More time away from the table then he'd like I am sure. We talked Trainer and he has a Peloton.

Side note: He said it does not get harder when 'going up' when participating in shared stuff. Isn't there a ERG mode of load generator on those?

Some apps have "no drop" rides for groups but I've never ridden one. Sounds like that might be what he's talking about? Unless it's a peloton specific thing which I have no experience with.

I dont think there is a load generator on them. I seem to remember a belt like thing you can tighten but im probably wrong.
