I like non prolog 1st stages, race starts with excitinment day one.

Stage 2 is available streaming on max. The last 12 km are definitely worth the look.

Listening to the Stage 3 commentary mention that Pog had won the Tour of Calif 2019. We had gone to the a few stages of that race. Caught Stage one in Sacramento, and Stage two that ended in Tahoe. Then hit SanFran for remainder of the vaca. The rest of the race was quite south and last stage was South of LA.

Point being, I had no memory of who had won. I of course knew then who it was, but how likely this 19 year old wasn't a flash in the pan then. ;)
