Campy Ekar GT

Has anyone else seen this: https://www.campagnolo.com/gb-en/ekar-gt/

I get the impression that it's a less expensive version of Ekar, but I didn't see it stated anywhere. It seems like they rushed the ad copy a bit, as it contains some interesting typos, such as the rear derailleur providing the "best steering experience".

UPDATE: The cranks are aluminum, so it's definitely a lower priced groupo.

Google shows it a little cheaper and wider range. Alu crank.

The copy harks back to some of the early ads for Italian gear with casual translation, to say the least :)

Still love my original Ekar.

There is also a lower pticed wheelset introduced withEkar GT. Lots of speculation that they are going after some oem market share with this group..

I've had Ekar for a about a year and a half. Rear mech broke and LBS sent to Campagnolo for warranty. They hemmed and hawed because the derailleur showed wear associated with...wait for it...exposure to water. On a gravel bike? Who'd a thunk it?!?!?!

They eventually gave in and warrantied the part but said they were doing it "as a courtesy" because of the water exposure. WITAF? After my horrible experiences with EPS and this douchy customer service I am not surprised they are out of the world tour and I am officially no longer a Campag fanboy. I'm done with them. If the Ekar breaks again I'll find a different option.
