Fender compatibility

Since Iím near the end of my eighth decade, I gave in and got an ebike, a Cannondale Synapse Neo SE. Needs fenders. Wheels are 650 x 47. Local Craigslist has an unused set of Planet Bike Cascadia 26 x 60 on offer cheap. Would they work? Per web wheel info sites, OD seems to be about the same with tires.

I've used 26" fenders on 650b bikes without problem. If they're plastic fenders which have dual stays both front and rear, you can use the stays to get a good fender line. If they're metal fenders with single stays, you can re-radius them to get a good line. Velo-Orange have an article on doing this:
