Stage 1 Vuelta [semi spoiler]

Not a great start for Froome. Already getting out paced at the back by his own team on the front..

Thinking what I felt and said after his Dauphine crash looks to be materializing..

11:12 from the Red Jersey 1st stage.

Still semi spoiler, or is it a who gives a... ;)

Yea, Sparky, I do recall last year that you forecasted CF's low probability of being able to make a full comeback. Didn't look good for old Froomey today. Maybe he will ride himself into better shape, or more likely, end up dropping out??

Should be interesting this Sunday when the riders head into France and go over the Portalet, Col d'Aubisque, and finish on the Tourmalet. I heard they have already seen some snow at the Barreges and La Mongie ski bases on the Tourmalet. Then, 1 week later (Nov 1?), they finish on the Angliru. Brrrr.

There seems to be daily coverage on the Olympic Channel, with several re-showings per day.

Iíve been using it for several years. I watched the Tour of Flanders on Sunday.

NBC Sports Gold has the Vuelta. I have Gold and itís only $60 a year.

I missed the first stage yesterday, but SBS has an extended replay and the rest of the race live, so I'll check it out today. I'll have the Giro on one computer and the Vuelta on the other. Yikes!

Tour of Flanders

Tour of Flanders, watched last night. It is kind of lucky it was the last race of the season pretty much for the rainbow jersey... Given the unfortunate turn [lack of turn] of events.
