New riders sign at Ineos
Richie Porte and Tom Pidcock signed with Ineos today.
Tom is the grandson of an English friend of my mother. I have been following his results for a few years. This year he won the U23 Paris Roubaix and the U23 Giro. He will be racing in the worlds elite RR this weekend.

Here is a good video about his win at the Giro.

"grandson of an English friend of my mother."
English=British?
Wonder if Porte negotiations were/not closed before landing on the podium @ TDF. Might see him on the top 10 list highest paid Pros...

I highly doubt, it was the worse kept secret that Porte was goons to Ineos, it was known before the Tour even started.

I really doubt there is much Froome money left after signing Rohan Dennis and Phillipo Ganna in 2019 and with Ritchie Porte and Adam Yates due to come on for 2021.
Beginning to remind me of the old Steinbrenner Yankees. Who can we buy next?

It makes me want to see them fall flat on their collective asses again in 2021. It's a shame because I like the riders as individuals, but I don't trust Brailsford and company and buying success in pro cycling is pretty distasteful to me. Perhaps what the sport really needs is for teams to get a percentage of revenue from TV rights, with their share to be inversely proportional to their sponsorship budget.
