An early 2000/s Legend ti is on my bucket list of bikes. One must be careful on the earliest ones, as the F1 fork would only fit a 23 mm tire. The F2 and F3 forks fit a little wider, but I doubt a real 28mm would fit.

I guess now that Ben got the legals outta the way and can use his own brand/name once again...

And Sachs 'pay to get in line' is over/done, Ben can do the pay to get in line thing that worked so well with RS.

I think RS only ever got up to 600.00 max to get in line. Others here might know better than I.

But if ti all custom, what specs until you consult on the build really. But $2k to get in line? Maybe just trying to keep the initial "line" shortish ?? Who knows...

Serottas are great

I own 4.

These are custom bikes so the specs emerge during the design process. That is how it worked when I got my Ottrott.

That said, $2,000 is a pretty big deposit. It was $2,500 to get in line for a Tesla Y (and that is refundable and has gone down to $100 now that production is near).

I wish Ben luck. I remember going into the Cambridge Bicycle Exchange in maybe 1980 with a beautiful Candy Blue Club Special hanging with a simple sign ”The Best.”

" It was $2,500 to get in line for a Tesla Y "

Was?, as in you're in line? If I may ask. ;)

"Was"

I meant "was" in the sense that it is no longer $2,500, but now $100. But yes, I am in line. Though it is all pretty speculative as the deposit is refundable, and when manufacture/delivery could take place is uncertain.

I see, I think you may have mentioned the Tesla Y Queue a while back. And my memory is so very good anymore.... [not]
