I intentionally push the saddle a bit farther forward on my off-road bikes, in order to get more weight on the front wheel. The shallow head angles reduce it and shoving myself farther forward helps to compensate for that. I also have to concentrate on getting my weight low over the bars when cornering, which also helps.
