More Ineos drama
Geraint Thomas crashed in the Tour de Suisse and abandoned the race. He appeared to be OK other than some road rash on his shoulders and back, but speculation is that he also whacked his head pretty hard, too.
Who knows what implications this may have for Le Tour. More to come...

Maybe their "blood bag" kit color scheme really was a bad omen! ;-)

Two out of three have already suffered crashes, which doesn't bode well for Egan Bernal. Then again, if he survives the "Ineos curse", he may be the undisputed team leader.

I just saw a news article that said he is hospitalized.

What I saw is that he was taken to a hospital for examination, which is standard procedure after a crash that's bad enough to cause a rider to abandon. For all we know, he may come out with little more than a few bandages.
UPDATE: Apparently the main reason for the hospital visit was a cut over his right eye. It didn't look bad from the video footage I saw.

Apparently he's OK, but will be monitored for concussion symptoms over the next few days.
