Post Hernia repair time off bike?

Yeah, fuck!

Who has had an inguinal hernia repair, and what was your exercise schedule after date of knife?

Shouldn’t you be asking the surgeon?

For sure, apt. is 3/4/19 though. I could never last that long without the requisite google and forum diagnostic in addition to soliloquies. ;)

A google search seems to indicate 3 weeks.

A reasonable guess, Dan

However that is one of the few medical procedures I don't have experience with. But I just talked with a friend (a doc himself) who just had it done and said the recovery was pretty minor. But I don't know about cycling.

"that is one of the few medical procedures I don't have experience with."

Careful there...

Like saying I have not had a flat all season!

I think I am getting cocky. I have a lot more energy with this last 2-1/2 of changed eating and exercise etc. Nice rainly 30 miler Friday. ;)

And 20lb now less is helping, with getting cocky...

I may have helped along an existing partial hernia with my floor exercises I have adopted trying to get a more balanced core.

I knew I was up for something when I asked Elaine yesterday, "Which side is your appendix on?" ;)

I had a small repair done with mess in 1999. A couple days with frozen peas on it, and easy for a week or two. My mom died a couple days after the surgery, so I had enforced time off...

A year from now it will be, like, "oh yeah, that."
