Cameron Mason

Anyone else come across the videos put out by this young Scottish cyclocrosser. He has quite a lot of entertaining videos on Youtube - all shot by himself and friends/family, and quite well edited. He must be pretty good on the bike - if he can ride elite level CX in Belgium and finish mid-field, that's pretty good. He also includes sections in his videos showing all the extraneous crap involved in being able to compete at this level.

Here's one of his videos that's quite entertaining - he has on-screen readouts of speed/power/HR and talks you through the course and race. The actual race starts at about three minutes in:

Did he say the course was on a golf course? Best vacation I ever had was my 50th birthday present to myself, when I was still an avid golfer and not yet a cyclist--two weeks in Scotland, 11 rounds of golf in 12 days, all on lovely links courses like the one in the video, just my clubs and me.

Yes, a golf course.

Had to be the perimeter or something, I can’t see the greens keeper wanting bikes tearing up a course.

Remarkable video.

Here's another one of his quite entertaining videos, this time the Diegem Superprestige in Belgium:
