Hey guys!

'Guys' being used in a gender-neutral way of course...like 'dude' but without the 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High' vibe. ;)

Been moving around some more, landed in Seattle again and I think I'm here to stay. Decided to start cycle commuting after struggling with my weight for a couple years and finally finding some salvation in the keto diet. (maybe 40ish pounds and 2 pant sizes lost in ~4mo)

So when I pulled my bike stuff out of musty old boxes look what I found, a real TTF treasure. A mostly-full bottle of Slick Willy! Shook the dickens out of it and slathered it on the chain and the shifting went from chunky to buttery smooth. Made me think fondly of the ole TTF and thought I'd drop by.

Hope all is well with everyone!

There are not many new voices appearing so it is doubly great to have some old ones back. What have you been up to?

Last I'd heard, you were riding a Harley, figured you'd need to pack on 60lbs to fit in.

Which old bike are you riding? Road, or gravel?

I am going to guess CX & Road. Last time we rode here in OR anyway. ;)

Hey Rob

Good to hear from you. Losing weight, turning the pedals, and Slick Willy are all good things!

Yup...Harley, Redline CX, and Strong road. Traded the '16 Road King in for an '18 Street Glide , more gadgets but not as nice of a ride...but GPS on the display is a life saver in Seattle.

Bought a house across the sound (property values in SEA are ridonkulus) when I had a cushy work from home gig but that company went under last Christmas so now I'm commuting into downtown every day working at SBUX HQ.

Second grandbaby was born last week so I'm flying back to NY to meet her this weekend. Got a 2.5yr old gson as well.

Things are really good. Been on a very healing path and discovered a lot of things about myself and my past traumas. 4 years ago this month I starting working with a therapist who does underground work- psychedelic assisted psychotherapy. It literally saved my life. The old angry, aggressive me is gone. Things are quiet and peaceful in my head now. If you're ever bored I blog about it andtherewaslight.org . Also writing a book and I plan to get out of IT and begin doing this work myself in a couple years, once I get proper training and schooling.

0530 here and I've got to catch a boat.

Just wanted to add my hello and that it`s good to hear from you. Also, hard to be angry and aggressive when confronted with ones grandchildren, but without that being an issue, it makes enjoying them that much easier.

Me too, sans the Knarley...

Just popped together a Conquest Disc recently.

My niece is in Seattle, Med School. I should be up there now and again..

Got lots of pretty rides around here, especially out on the Olympic Peninsula. Took some pics on a hike a couple weekends ago. If you come up on the moto would be cool to ride out there with ya.

I forget about your 'photo' eye. I still have your Orange Fixie in IT on that cobbled street for wallpaper in my DeskTop WP switcher. ;)

Speaking of which, this is looking promising PNW weather wise...

Nice day up here as well...though I could have used the chaps this morning on the ride to the ferry. Still a bit chilly at 0545
