Considering if there, I would not leave base unarmed and they thought that part of world was safe enough to cycle through. Oh My.

Well, I actually knew someone who cycled through that part of the world ("the stans") last year. They didn't see any reason to consider it NOT safe.

Is Saudi Arabia safe? Is Pakistan safe? Is Egypt safe? Is Chicago safe?
