OMG, TdF bikes have no brakes!

After viewing a clip of Philippe Gilbertís crash, Norah OíDonnell on CBS This Morning, stated that she didnít think the bikes had brakes. Oy.

They just use the motors in the wheels as a brake by reversing polity to the stator, who needs calipers? {:>

i'm not one to talk, but I've never seen a better example of target fixation. Look at the apex, release the rear brake for a second , and you'r not over the cliff. Google sbn for a shot of how his knee looked today. EEK
