Trump is doing political fracking, undermining the bedrock stability of the US on the world stage for short term gains that ruin the world political climate and leave a legacy of earthquakes.

That's land and air, what's the oceanic metaphor, "146 days until we can turn the tide?"

It seems odd that and given the legacy of the NK's simply lying about their actions and intentions, that Trumps advisors are letting him go out on such a limb as believing Kim's word that he will destroy his nukes ?, destroy and stop building ICBM's ?.

And we stop military exercises as well as reduce the sanctions ?.

We got what out of this except Kim's "word" that he'll take certain and as yet unknown actions ?.

He is so out of his depth it is frighting.

He just wants to be a member of the 'Oligarchs-Я-Us' consortium for tutelage. The collateral ramifications aren't even on his radar.

Kim is after a SK yoink from the west's influence. Watch how fast he gets it done before DT get out of office. Hopefully one term only. I really wanted to retire state side.

I suspect that all they really did was brag to each other about all the hot chicks they attract with their awesome hair styles.

Well perhaps they had something more substantial to discuss:

Kim: "Dude, having TOTAL control over an entire county and the people is the BOMB! You REALLY gotta' try it!"

Trump: "I'm working on it, I just gotta' get rid of Congress and the courts, which might take a couple more years..."

45 was never really very good at running a company and the only reason he was able to get away with it is because he owned it. He would have been fired from any other job.

He's has no understanding of the difference between being President and running a company that he owns where he can be an absolute dictator, didn't have to be smart, could fire anyone he wants, could walk away from any deal that he didn't like (whether he had signed a contract or not - let the lawyers work it out), and could grope all the women he wanted (I bet he really misses that last part, but who knows what the Secret Service and Putin are setting him up with).

How many voter know the difference?

On the other hand, KJU can do all that, in a country. No doubt 45 loves to be able to do just that. But even the political commentators and the news didn’t dare to ask him that question. Just like they never asked him any question about his many bankruptcies.

Yeah, the bankruptcies, how he used bankruptcy to renegotiate contracts. And April 15 has come and gone, where are the President's tax returns? Donald might say "Sad."

But immigration brought me to post. Let's hear it for the First Lady and past First Ladies for standing up to this policy.* Also, the President is highlighting his naive self-deception and demonstrating he his the victim of fake news: The government is strongly restricting media access and Trump says approved media images are fake, while the glossies presented to him are consistently rosy, hence his staff is feeding him fake news.

Where are the girls, the infants and the toddlers? -A question forced several times on DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, who refused to answer.

*NPR reported the administration corrected reporters who used the term 'policy' by stating the administration was using "a method of action." The irony is in the link to Websters, which NPR cited. NPR stated they will continue to use 'policy.'

"Space Force"...WTH?

we kind already have this as a command in the USAF. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_Force_Space_Command

since airman-erik is a civilian now, maybe he can lead up this branch.

fwiw...we are the originators and signatories to the Outer Space Treaty which limits the use of the Moon and other celestial bodies to peaceful purposes and prohibits their use for testing weapons of any kind, conducting military maneuvers, or establishing military bases, installations, and fortifications.

It's just empty talk

Only Congress can create another branch of the military, so Trump's "order" is meaningless. I'm sure that there are a lot of generals shaking their heads and wondering "What next?"

What's he going to be like as an ex-President? WC Fields hated following an animal act.

This border situation is more fascism, it does not surprise me frankly. To DT, the 'emigrants/migrants/etc" are same as the tenants of his tenement holdings early on.

It is one thing to step on ants, yet another to go out of ones way to stomp on concentrations of them. And yet totally a gross practice of being 'human' to consider 'lowly' humans as ants.

It to me is the same sentiment Hitler had for non Aryan PEOPLE.

It is simply disgusting in this day and age. He only like migrants that he pays for and marries apparently.

Unfortunately

Many Americans agree with Trump and despise immigrants. This is red meat to his base. No one dislikes Trump more than I, but if I had to bet today, I'd bet that he'll win gain.

He won the election despite crap that fully exposed who he is. Why would any supporter change now? I'll bet Brian will vote for him again as opposed to a liberal democrat who could appoint Supreme Courrt justices.

"Unfortunately Many Americans agree with Trump and despise immigrants."

In fact: 45s approval is at 45%. Now that is sad from where I am sitting. "So Sad... .. .... ..."

When B+ invites the press into the conference room

It just occurred to me, it's a trope right out of Apprentice.

And he caves, this on a level actually show weakness.

If this is actually caving:

executive order that would allow the indefinite detention of immigrant families together.

See, he has family values.
