Lots!

Cross Tires & tube
Long sleeve jersey
Helmet (ok, it's a ski helmet)
Glove (ski, not bike)

(ok, I hadn't bought much the last year or two. So a lot of replacement of consumable items)

Plus a bunch of non-sporting related items. Would have needed a pretty big tree to fit them under (had we done it the "traditional way")

What tree?

I spent Xmas eve rebuilding the Campy 10 shifters and installing new Jagwire Elite cables on my primary road bike. Hopefully my "present" will be smooth, precise shifting and braking. Unfortunately, the ~9" of snow and ice we've received over the past few days and the frigid temps forecast for this week mean that road riding is on hold for a while. I may actually have to resort to sticking the bike on the trainer...oh, the horror!!!

FWIW, I don't wait for Xmas, I buy Linda and myself "presents" whenever the opportunity arises.

However, if anyone wants to send me Xmas well-wishes, please write them on the back of a 50 tooth, 5 bolt, 11-speed, Campagnolo Record chainring with Extreme Performance Shifting system and AFT coating. It will be greatly appreciated! ;-)

<apologies to the Car Talk guys>

Nuthin'

Not one cycling related item for me, nor can I think of anything I particularly want.

I had a good time talking with my nephew who is getting into mountain biking. He is in Raleigh NC and showed me pics/videos of a trail he rides with these wooden ramps, jumps, etc. He wants to get some 2300 lumen lights for MB riding at night. He says you can either get expensive batteries that are small or dirt cheap batteries that weigh a ton, and he is favoring the latter. He is a good sized kid who is strong as an ox, and is an engineer, so it will be fun to watch what he does. Plus I can get him some gnarly stuff in the future.

Brian, it's in the mail.

I'm not a Christmas person either. But a lot of the stuff I got are consumables that aren't urgent. So I wait for sales, maybe just free shipping. Stuff like clothing are DEFINITELY have the biggest sale during the holidays.

Example, a few years back, I saw a sleeveless jersey for sale, and it's got playing card patterns tastefully located. So I told my Mom, who plays bridge several times a week, to get that as a present for me. She's delighted, because she now knows every time I put that jersey on to ride I would think of her. I also got asked about the playing cards, to which I told everyone it's a present from my Mom, the bridge fanatic! :)

For hardwares, I knew I would only install them when the season is over anyway. So buying them over the holiday is just right time. Ski stuff? That goes without saying. Perfect timing to put them to use.

Good until 12/25/2025 probably ;)

I ordered some Hutchinson Sector 28 tubeless on x-mas day. I told Elaine I ordered the tires for the wheels you got me for x-mas for another present.

Not under the tree though...

Masi

When you're ready it would be nice to read your impressions of your new team ride. I'm assuming Ohio winter conditions are not new-team-bike friendly this week.

I just ordered a Shimano 8050 electronic upgrade kit, so sort of a holiday gift, to myself. I’m a sucker for gadgets.

And then canceled the order this morning after my wife calls to tell me her job is no longer after 2/28. Sucks.

"wife calls to tell me her job is no longer after 2/28"

Hope this winds up being a short event, forget bike parts for now.
