Puy de Dome 1975, BBC Witness

This is a 9 minute recounting by a successful Brit about a stage in the 1975 TDF. It's an excellent piece overall but I think I like the Eddy Merckx song the most.

...it's audio from a radio show. Note the file type when you go to download it: mp3

Don't feel bad, I was confused too until I saw this.

It's interesting that the second and fourth riders in the picture above are using bar-end shifters. I hadn't heard of pro's using them prior to seeing this.

Theater of the mind, sorry 'bout not making that clear.

Witness large can be found in that link (or here) under Witness Hompage.

Video clips too, but the radio segments (under Podcasts,) there must be over a thousand, nine or ten minutes apiece. If you like the medium you'll come away spoiled.

And yeah, dig those bar-cons.
