Worlds [Spoiler]
No comments on Petey's "hat trick"...
...or the World's in general?
I though Sagan's performance was pretty incredible considering he's been suffering from the "Canuck Crud" for the past week. I do feel somewhat bad for Kristoff, coming within inches of victory on home soil.
Dumoulin's domination of the rather bizarre TT course was another highlight. It goes to show what you can do when you only ride the Giro and have lots of time to recover and peak at the end of the season. Well played!

I did not read your post, I am watching the RR now, and I sure hope your title is a question and not a spoiler...
Well I got my answer, thanks Brian.
Edited accordingly...
Sucks the coverage crapout in the last few k...
At least my TDF Sagan disappointment is compensated for to a degree. ;)
Waiting for podium ceremomy, a seated Kristoff says to a pacing Sagen, "Your a hard man to beat" ;)
If he keep this up each year, Skittles is going to have to hire him as a spokes person. 'Spokes' being relative...

Two Sagan Videos
Here is some great coverage of the last 4K of the World's:

Another video that I found shows details of the Sagan - Cavandish TDF crash:

Yeah Sagen sure pulled off something really special.
I was rooting for Kristoff, nothing against Sagen at all, just thought that it would be awesome for Kristoff to win on his home turf.
BTW Sagens interview afterwards was very classy and mature, he dedicated his win to Scarponi.
He also mentioned that maybe it was Karma to the Tour debacle.

I saw a slightly less edited version of that footage and kept playing who's who. It's a pretty cool run-in. Chapeau.

TT
As for the TT, not sure if it has anything to do with rest etc... Doumalin is just better then Froome in the TT.
He is at the top of his game now kind of how Fabian was and then Tony Martin were 2-5 years ago.
And lets give some props to Sunweb, sweeping both the mens and woman's TTT's.

Speaking of interviews
Sagan was interviewed or Eurosport shortly after his victory and concerning Kristoff he said something like, " I feel bad with him being on his home turf, but...." and then he sort of shrugged his shoulders as if to say what the hell could I do.
It was a great race and he was awesome.
On that course and on the given day, no one was going to beat Doumalin.

That's one of the things that make him so likeable
He's still a totally down-to-earth guy who empathizes with his competition, whether they just come up a bit short like Kristoff or do something stupid like Cavendish. He a formidable force in a race who never gives anyone an inch, but completely human off the bike, with none of the gloating, "in your face" attitude, self-importance or excessive bravado that we often see in other athletes. Beyond his accomplishments on the bike, he's a special person.
