Ouch!

Very nasty looking crash for Laurens de Plus in the Giro de Lombardia: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9nQCTn_9cQ

Amazingly, he came out of it without any serious injuries. Several other riders crashed on the same descent, but the live coverage only showed this one, as de Plus was second on the road at the time, chasing the lone leader. The worst injured rider seems to be Jan Bakelants, with several fractured ribs and vertebrae.

The racing was pretty damn good, though.

I just watched that a few minutes ago along with the race highlights. It's amazing that he fell that far and wasn't seriously injured or killed!
