seriously

"rule of law" -- 45 doesnt know what that means.

"facts" -- 45 doesnt know what those are.

"constitution" -- 45 doesnt know what that is.

what's scary is that his supporters and elected GOP politicians dont care about any of that.

I wonder if it will take until the middle of his third year to figure out how to run the US with out an 8th grade mentality and being a moronic micro manager. What a colossal bigly jack hole!

In calculable. All of it might come to nothing because of his and his minions' incompetence, or it might alter the fabric of the country in myriad ways. Too soon to tell.

" it might alter the fabric of the country in myriad ways"

That "fabric" has been frayed for quite a while. And no one is mending it.

So it's a matter of whether Trump and his clowns will just break in the most dramatic way in short order.

It occurred to me as a childhood memory of Punch and Judy floated in my mind.

So I guess Trump is Punch, and everybody else who might oppose his views [such as they are at any given moment] is 'Judy'.

Somehow a Denethor of Gondor analogy I read made me think of Punch/Judy with the barking buffoon Trump.. err Punch...

According to The New York Times, Flynn exhibited a loose relationship with facts, leading his subordinates to refer to Flynn's repeated dubious assertions as "Flynn facts". [30]

Who woulda thunkit, they've got a problem with alternative facts.

The infomercial technique Spicer attempts during press briefing on Flynn legalities was cute, not!

Brings a sky VID question in live abruptly from a friendly GOP press crony was not too obvious. Of course the question was regarding how Dodd Frank [Latest Exec Order travesty will get fixed by Dopey] because it does exactly the opposite of what it is supposed to.

Next press question, back to Flynn of course. And then the new ploy, VID questions ala infomercials...

I hate that I can't enjoy This administration fook up without it compromising my patriotism.

So I gotta ask, weary of being satisfied if shit for brains has already set himself up for impeachment.

That rhetoric aside, how bad is it for our US/A if this actually occurs? And is Pence better or worse if this should come to pass. Although I can not imagine him being worse than the idiot who has little/no idea of what he is doing. Outsider, yeah... good idea? ;)

The gist I've heard is Pence is an insider. He knows how to get legislation done. At this point compromise with him seems better than the bullying morass of the current executive.

Maybe I'm not reading the current trend but my take is the American people are being given, and they are absorbing, the crash course on political doublespeak. Reporters are also becoming more persistent.

A Vox primer on Kellyanne Conway's techniques, 6 minutes, YouTube.

Her techniques are not new but her particular "mastery" is disarming.

"Gorsuch"

Far from his worst choice of anyone so far perhaps... But that is some real 'Or Else' body language I'd say.

And yet another perhaps was Comey's little report on the eMail thing. Was saying 'not sure if redundant or not' the slight of hand that both gave the election to the GOP and yet another shiny ball. Instead of the Russia shiny Ball.. really took the shine off the Russia shiny ball if you think about it.

We may have gotten lucky that Puzder withdrew for Labor.

R. Alexander Acosta is, from all I can find out about him, a reasonably good choice.

Is this true or Right/Liberal Media Propaganda?

"Trump Gets Navy Seal Killed By Moving Forward On Operation Without Sufficient Intelligence"

Solo press conference today? Just, wow...

1910, medical Latin, from Greek (Attic) moron, neuter of moros "foolish, dull, sluggish, stupid," probably cognate with Sanskrit murah "idiotic." Latin morus "foolish" is a loan-word from Greek. Adopted by the American Association for the Study of the Feeble-minded with a technical definition " adult with a mental age between 8 and 12 ;" used as an insult since 1922 and subsequently dropped from technical use. Linnĉus had introduced morisis "idiocy."

Apparently, the Seal operation was one that Barack Obama had decided not to proceed with due to lack of adequate intel.

Trump obviously disagreed with that assessment. In his defense (and I can't believe I'm saying this), I would hope that he would not have been presented with this operation as a possibility unless military brass had thought that it was a viable operation. But I have no idea whether that's how this works.

In my opinion it is an editorial decision, true but composed to inflame.

Was the decision to go in partly to "wag the dog?" Imagine the propaganda coup of unblemished success. (The administration and the base: THATSWHATWEDO!!!, the country as a whole: That's what we do.)

Blaming the previous administration for setting it up was snuffed out pretty fast. What were they going to do, order a moratorium on planning?
