Not a spoiler

That last long off camber downhill before the finishing straight had the riders second guessing. Great crowd.

Sixty Minutes links

Familiar clips and new interviews. I hadn't seen the Spartacus acceleration clip before. 1998 was mentioned as the dawn of the era. Tyler Hamilton gets an interview. And I don't get why people call Greg LeMond a whiner when he has been right 100% of the time.

At the end of the story they mentioned "the next avenue of cheating, magnets in the wheels?" "visit us on the web"

This is the story page and the magnets link is there.

The reporting was described well by Dave B in the first thread on this topic.

Right you are.

It's been a few days since I've been here and I went straight to the new thread button. Thanks for bringing your thread to my attention.

Sounds like you're being a PT animal, keep up the good work.

Thanks

I didn't mean your thread was a snooze, though it may have looked that way. I meant the reporting was a snooze. They didn't have anything new or very convincing.

The racing

I caught both the Womans and Mens races, pretty great racing the course was nuts.
The last lap battle between Vos and Cant on that last lap, was epic, I think this was one for the ages, going shoulder to shoulder and fighting for every last inch for the last 10 minutes was great.

The mens race was pretty great too, great battle between the 2 Van's for over an hour both going full gas for the whole race, if your not Belgium or Dutch I'm not really sure why you even bother to show up.

Agreed

Both races were excellent with lots of "plot twists". Very riveting stuff!
