Sugino XD crank with Colnago logo

Scored this set of cranks off fleabay. They're NOS Sugino XD cranks - a 110/74 BCD touring crank - that have the Colnago logo screened onto them. I guess Sugino must have made a run of these cranks for Colnago at some point, but to my knowledge Colnago have never made a touring bike. Did Colnago ever make MTBs? They could possibly have used such cranks, though it would be rather unusual to find an MTB with 165mm cranks - MTBs seem to go the other way as regards crank length.

MTB bikes I seem to recall. I bought a few XP Pro Sugino sets very similar to that NOS around 2000. Bringing back memories. ;) Nice cold forged Aluminum.

Last set went with the repainted Bridgestone 400. Sorry to see them go after having so many bikes with them and them working out perfectly every time too.

I think Colnago made some pretty fancy kids' bikes. Could the cranks be made for one of those?

At 165 mm I think those cranks are adult size, not intended for kids.

Probably so, though I seem to recall that my kids had a couple of 24 inch MTB's with 165 cranks. Then again, that was a long time ago, so perhaps i remember wrong, and I see that 24 inch road bikes usually have shorter ones.
