Winter Commuting Season is Here

First ride in on the studded Hakkas today, enough snow/black ice that I'm glad to be on them.

With the studs, generator lights, big bags on the bike, bring it on!

So now I ride in winter crud by day and, courtesy of ergivdeo, in sunny Mallorca or Italy by night.

yup

Me too. Put the studs on Monday evening as the snow fell! Switched to wide 44NRTH Nicotine tires last winter since I was often washing out in the loose sand/snow crud on the edge of the road. They work great but damn it's slow going! Does make me feel tough!

Right

They are manly tires.

I think my 2" Hakkas roll pretty well, but it may be all relative.
