I've only done it in veloreality, and good god its long...the views just above the power station are stunning, even on tv. No way I can do it at ftp, even though in theory you should be able to.

Dan, you are one tough guy. I rode some hill in Italy for an hour yesterday and never got to the top. I was toast after an hour of 7-8%. I plan to make a new course thaT starts where I left off and hopefully I'll see the top next time.

It is great to go over the top of these long hills, but it takes me forever to get up them. I think I'll lie to the trainer and tell it I weigh 50 kilograms so I can double my speed up them...

Inspired by this thread, I downloaded the Bkool trainer simulator yesterday and rode the Col de Telegraph. For an indoor trainer ride, it was fun! I've wanted to try ergvideos and veloreality but can't run them easily on my Mac at home. I still haven't really figured out how Bkool works - but for the ride yesterday, there were other "virtual riders" that pushed me to go faster than I normally would have. Not sure if they were other people somewhere else in the world or computer generated riders - but they pushed me!
