It's going to be interesting how UT-Battelle / ORNL weighs in.

Well, at least there's this to wear the made-in-USA label.

Something about this new company's technology sounded familiar, and I at first wondered if this venture might have something to do with the lab scientist that LeMond fired, but thankfully not.

The Headtube to down and top tube junction seems very not contemporary to my eye.

The chrome colors are super nice though.

And also not contemporary but not really a bad thing IMO:

After more than a decade of changing bottom bracket standards, we are happily back to BSA. No more creaking, easy to service and just as light as any other bottom bracket standard. Your mechanic will be thankful.

But I see the BSA to the consumer in that usual high end price range a deterrent. But I have to say my Addict being the last BSA HMX Scott frames is one of my favorite things.

That said, so far the BB90 on the Madone is not showing any 'sighs' as the OSBB on the Roubaix did out of the starting gate on my 2014.

A Di2 Ultegra $5k seems fairly aggressively priced, yes?

I like how Bicycling declared it the hottest bike in 2017 . . . . in January 2017!

Hottest, ehh? Is it me, or is it just generic looking?

I'm guessing it's quite flashy "in person", looking forward to my first encounter with one out and about. The bike IS notably light on "graphics".

"Hottest bike" is kind of like Motor Trend's Car of the Year award, and yikes they've picked a few lemons over the years.
Of course, these days, all of the 2017's were supposed to be announced six months ago, right? But I'm not sure if Bicycling even rode this one yet...

I'm hoping that if it ever comes to it, this company can pick up where LeMond leaves off.
