great finish
Nice pic!
I just watched the last 6k on steephill.tv. What a great finish! I wasn't convinced Sagan would hold it when he crested the hill but he really increased his gap through those two corners. Perfect attack.

Speaking of Cancellara, here's a photo of the junior worlds TT podium in 1998: Cancellara (gold), Torsten Hiekmann (silver, I think he rode for Gerolsteiner at one time but never achieved much), and Pippo Pozzato (bronze).

Had a great time. Lizzie's ride on Saturday was classic, and Sunday was a hoot, with Ben King, they Taylor, then Tyler all getting the flag out there. Ben was amazing, in the early break and then on the point of the peloton during the chase of the Boonen group.
Riding in the Blue Ridge was great too, 3 solo days of 60 miles and 16k of climbing. Beautiful roads, views and courteous drivers.

>Riding in the Blue Ridge :
We used to pop the MCs in my van and drive down from Joisey. Truly beautiful experience. Love to do it with me being the motor...
Very cool Pic there of the kids... ;)

The hills were short but steeper than they appeared on TV. I was stunned at how fast they rode those hills, and how fast they rode into the hills.

Yeah, and what was even more interesting was how relaxed they were going up Libby. I was midway up for part of Sunday and there was more chatter and smiles going back and forth than I woulda thunk possible, at least until lap 14 or so. 23rd St was killer though, a wall. The bunch came over the top there strung out.
