Anyone running Salsa Cowbell II or flared bars?

I got the On one Midge bar on the Disc Strong, decided I can get used to the width. I do want to stay flared, but 22" c/c on the Midge is a bridge too far.

Looking at spec, the Cowbell 2 seem more sense. Question is 44 or 46 based on that being the size at the lever mounting/hoods?

I think the 46CM bar would only be about 3/4 narrower each side, the 44s 7/8" less wide each side based on internet info. Read a report/review that said the 46 was 52CM C/C at the end, seems the 44 should be 1CM less each side I figure/would hope..

Haven't tried the Salsa bars, but I've decided that I really like the shape of the Syntace Racelite CDR bars, which sweep back at six degrees each side of the stem. I now have them on several bikes. Available in either Al 7075 or C-F.

Like the 6^ sweep, but 2^ dropout sweep less than I think I want for the All Road Strong not so much, but for one of my road bikes OTOH....

Good weight for the price too! Especially for 7075 AL.

$39.00 here: http://www.leftlanesports.com/product.aspx?p=SYN01236&a=GoogleBase&gclid=CjwKEAjwxruuBRC9lLGslqjs-HISJAAkq21sASxgXXINfx5zO4sn1d3cQG9fr2Uf88hLwvjkZ6B1FhoCBQrw_wcB

I also need 31.8, those look nice though... Thanks

Bell Laps and Cowbells

I run 44 bell laps (the old cowbells) on my cross/gravel bike and ride a 46 cowbell on my dropped bar MTB (the dropbar position keeps my RA ravaged wrists happy).

I like them both. The Cowbells flair the shifters a little more but I don't notice the additional flair besides visually.

If I rode my road bike more I'd put a CW2 on that next to get the flair.

I had the Bell Laps on my first Poprad. I liked them a lot. I went ahead and ordered a 44CM set of Cowbell 2 bars. They should be 50CM at the bar ends based on reviews.

Thanks
