!!!SOLD!!! lenovo x130e laptop -> $50* towards TTF ops

ive got a wonderful condition lenovo x130e laptop, ~12" screen, dual-core AMD processor, OEM windows-7 professional, upgraded to 8gb RAM to enhance performance, great battery-life, built-in wifi, ruggedized design. a wonderful backup/utility machine. just did a factory-wipe/restore of the OS, so it's ready to boot and configure as-new.

i never use it so i figured i'd check if someone on the forum could. here's the deal: PP $50* to me out of which i will cover shipping, the remaining funds will go directly to antney/TTF coffers. * = figure shipping will cost like $10 or thereabouts, so $40-ish will go to the TTF.

the $ i'm asking would cover the RAM upgrade, so it's like you're getting a laptop for free! ;-)

here's a review -- http://www.laptopmag.com/reviews/laptops/lenovo-thinkpad-x130e

Buy it.

I just want to endorse the value of the machine Walter's selling.

I own its immediate predecessor, the X120e, and have used it as my main machine for almost four years. I recently upgraded to its successor, the X140e (quad core) and the dual-core X120e is going to my spouse for a spare writing machine (her main computer is the one she gets through her university). These things fit nicely in a pannier and are built to survive lots of travel.

They're tough as nails. Non-glare screens, amazing battery life, great keyboard. Easy to work on, too--I've installed SSDs in the X120e and X140e and upgraded memory in both as well.

Walter's price is fantastic. If I hadn't just bought an X140e, I'd be very, very tempted.

It went to a HS kid who's school went totally electronic and Windows for next year so my current stuff would not work for him.

A public thanks to walter. Tyler will put it to good use.
