Mow that lawn quick and get out in 70^...

Not! Stepped hard on the side, heard a pop, and took a full minute to get up and on it.. Finished mowing and looked at it. Eeesh... FOOOK!

Would have been 3rd day in a row in shorts... And thru Monday more of the same...

ICE ICE ICE

EDIT: 48 Hours later, lots of icing and elevating. Medium grade sprain I'd say by the limping and poor ambulatory state.

Just a sprain, pretty sure. Medium I'd say... If there was a fracture I doubt I could walk on it and it sure would be totally black and blue which it is not. No bruising at all actually. I stepped on the side of my foot when I slipped off a 7" high think that moved....

It has stiffened up quite a bit since I first posted, even with icing...

Elaine did this much worse a while back and even then with no break hers was big time black and blue. They x-rayed it when she got to work that time too.

EDIT: acute swelling went down and a little bruising showed up this morning.. It is clear I got to stay off it for a little bit. I may have to put the Speedplays on something to ride. The thought of clipping out with that side hurts to even think about... Limping and hurts to try to walk, burning sensation actually.

What colossally shitty timing..

24 miles with platform pedals, actually limping less afterwards.
Good PT range of motion maybe? I did lower the saddle a bit after a quick test ride after trying those pedals... Looks promising....

84 hours after injury, looks worse than it feels at this point. But swollen still...

My wife's foot did not bruise that bad when she broke it. Ya sure you are not cracked in there?
