i couldnt disagree more: there's way too much industrial inertia behind the program, too much pork to protect, for it to not fly again. it's NASA's version of the JSF.

the program will carry on, and will burn billions of taxpayer dollars along the way, in mis-guided pursuit of manned space exploration.

Which is misguided?

Are you saying that the Orion is misguided or that manned spaceflight is. While I could agree with the former, I couldn't disagree more with the latter.
