If they were 25C I sure would have grabbed them instead of the 25C Paves I just paid double that for. Although the Paves are a different animal. I like the 27mm Pave so much I got some 25 to substitute on the front with the 27mm for rear duty being the plan.

I think @ my weight the 23/25 and 25/27 is a good solution for pork.

I have the non slick Rubino Pros in 26C folding

This is a very good domestic price. I believe I paid about that for a "6-pack" of 700-23 Rubino Pro Slicks from Wiggle in the UK, also with free shipping, a year or so ago.

I'm a real fan of of these tires. Durability has been terrific as I get over 4000 miles on a rear tire, flats are very rare, they are quite light and the ride and handling are as goods as I've experienced.

Yep

Yes on both the slick and the "treaded" version. I've gotten as much as 4500 miles on both types. AFAIK, they are the same casing and the treads are really the same thickness as the weights are almost identical. I see no value on tread for a road tire so I prefer the slicks.

I weigh about 150 and ride a lot of hills.

I have some of the Rubinos, 25C with the tread. I thought I would try for on Elaine's bike for $19.00 ea. shipped.

I had them on the old Roubaix before popping on the 27mm Paves. Then they lived on Elaine's Madone until she wanted some Blue Michelins, also for 20.00 on sale. ;)

I put the Rubinos on the TCX which is a pretty stiff AL frame, and they made for a great ride on pavement I have to say. About as good as the Axial Pros which are about 29mm on the wide rims.
