"Festina Type" Raid On Two NFL Teams

The Federal DEA raided two NFL Teams today. This looks like the beginning of the S*** hitting the fan. Cycling is obviously not alone in secrets.

About damn time. US pro sports are just as dirty as they come.

Look at Jordan and how he "grew" later in his career.

We aren't alone by any means. Worldwide "football" (soccer) and international tennis are every bit as dirty as any of the US pro sports.

Remember 1/2 of the names the Operation Puerto raids came up with were soccer and tennis players but little to nothing was done about that.

A bunch of Kenyan distance runners...

...have been busted for EPO use. Frankly, I find it somewhat gratifying that other sports are feeling the pain that cycling went through.

I find it interesting that none of the major sports/news outlets have picked up on this story at all.
I follow football pretty closely and if not for this post I would know nothing of this story.

Henoch you must be out riding too much

I've seen plenty of coverage of the NFL issue both on TV and in the paper. It was discussed during the Sunday and Monday broadcasts, for one.

Also, it seems to center on painkillers, not PEDs as such.
