Opinion on internet purchase issue

I do up the web page purchase on the 5 items. Enter the code for free shipping for orders over $75.00. Process the payment from the page, done..

Not... get an email that reads:

====
This message is in regards to your recent order with us (outlined below).

The coupon code (75free) you entered on your order is only good for small parts and accessories (nothing over-sized such as rims, wheel (s), frames, work stands), and for orders totaling $75 (pre-tax) and above that are shipped in the USA only.

Cambria. And I had two problems on my last order. The initial issue I blamed on the web site ambiguity from my opinion. And I conveyed that on the phone.

But I said I will keep the wrong color thing just bill me and send me the right color thing. I get the right color thing and it is defective and have to do some hoop jumping to return and get a non defective one. Shit happens, quickly resolved. Although the new thing did not come in a box, so a returned item sent out again I am thinking.

Not doing too well with them, I have to decide what constitutes minor.

All items discounted some a lot. Should that matter I mention only because I do not think it should.

Getting tired of being nice about their mistakes.

My opinion, they should eat their mistake.

If at checkout, the web page gives you the discount, they should honor it.

IIf they can't do complex math with their web page, they should not offer complex coupons!

FWIW

5 seconds on the web site yields a disclaimer that says what they emailed. Granted, I was looking for it, and if I were just buying something I might well have missed it. Sort of cyber fine print.

You can decide how objectionable that is to you, but for the future you might search that sort of thing out before clicking "buy."
