I have to announce!!
After all these MANY years I am finally a college grad!!! I just finished my last exam and now only have to wait until they pass out the skins!!!
Not much but I started from scratch folks. I have general AS (As Science). I have studied everything from Astronomy (my favorite) to Zoology along with physics and a ton of biology classes. (Trig, Stats, Chemistry and a bunch of other stuff too)
I thank those of you who pay American taxes, you paid for my education. I could not have afforded to go to school if it where not for the post 9/11 GI bill. Thank YOU!
Now to job shop seriously, I at least have something more than HS and experience.
Put a fork in it!!!

Congrats
Nice going, you did this under tough conditions. I was a total slacker in college and wasted the opportunity, I'm sure you didn't do that.
My father said of my brother's college diploma "That and 2 bits will get you a cup of coffee anywhere," but I think yours will be more valuable than that.
I do remember how good it feels to finish the last exam. Enjoy!

Major props to you. Not an easy task given any one of a hundred or more life's distractions could derail your efforts! Congrats!

Most excellent!
Probably beyond what you want to consider now, but there will come a time, perhaps in retirement, when you can go back selecting only those courses of interest regardless of whether they will help your career.

Congrats on a major achievement! We all know that you've put mucho hours into this effort, but it should be well worth it, whether you get another job or not.

Ditto congrats
Make sure you now take advantage of the time that may be freed up from studying and classes and do something you have wanted to do. You deserve it!

Things I want to do.
Spend more lazy time with my family.
Go to more of my son's swim meets.
Learn to play the guitar. I told the family that last week.
Beef up my home network and set up a theater room.
Get back in the gym and build a bit of upper body mass. I am very bottom heavy.
Read more. I haves missed reading books of my choice. I hit two or three last year but want to triple that at least. My favorite authors are Sagan, Greene, Dawkins, Hitchens, Cox, Tyson, and other geeky stuff.
Get my shooting skills back in line with my past abilities and spend more time at my loading bench.
Of course ride my bike.
That is next week. Don't know yet about two weeks from now.
Rick you hit the nail on the head.

I like that list. I like scientists who write well for general audiences without talking down to them. (Stephen Jay gould would be added to the list). And non-scientist journalists/essayists who learn a subject and convey it intelligently and entertaingly. like John McPhee and Richard Rhodes.

I should add. I was given an eight inch dob I want to do some more astronomy. I gave my smaller telescope to another geeky coworker.
Cox can be a bit elementary but his filmed presentations are JUST as elegant as Sagan. Greene and Tyson both do both things very well. None top Sagan. Hitch and Dawkins; well they are IN YOUR FACE!

May not walk. Summer Grads don't have a ceremony until December. I have plenty of time to decide.
I sent a picture as a place holder to walter. Maybe y'all will see it.

Nope not at all. I actually sprinted off the front to pull over at a SAG that my wife was working, so I could sneak a kiss, then just jumped back on the bunch. She took the picture as I rode away.
My GPA is a 3.65. Not stellar, but respectable. I am a better cyclist than student.
