So, how do we all like Vandervelde in the treehouse?

I especially like when 'he' does the rider interviews. But overall I think and hope he will continue on to be a big 'voice'. He and Bobke are my future hopes for cycling commentating when the inevitable change of the guard happens...

Although, the Froome interview got pretty uncomfortable with my too fav future hopefuls today.

Also wondering about the 'selfie' fan issues and how that might get dealt with if at all.

And to toss this in, Wiggo apparently is track bound for Glasgow and Brazil et al. After all, Sir Wigo represents the Empire more so that the piddly French/Itey races do. ;)

I could do without CV commenting. I didn't find him very interesting to be honest. Bring back Kirstin Gum in a tight tshirt.

Forget CV....bring back Bobke and all his goofy splendor. A buttoned up Bob Roll is still good though.

Speaking of good looking, did anyone else catch the La Course TdF on NBC Universal today? It was another exciting finish on the Champs d'E.

CVV started the tour uncomfortable before the camera...and never got comfortable.
His best moment by far was the diet coke joke on Horner.

Bring on Jens...or Chris if he retires.

seriously CVV is a solid addition

he's a recent member of the pro peloton, so he brings a certain relevance to his reportage and commentary. both paul and bobke have been out of the game for decades.

CVV is new to commentating so he'll grow into it. remember when bobke was new? his hand-waving was distracting in the exteme! and when andreu started, he talked soooo fast he never finished the current thought before the next one was starting.

i like CVV...give him a chance, getting good at this takes time.

No exaggeration- I TivO the stages and watch in the evening. I mute or fast forward every second Roll is on camera and have been doing so for at least 4-5 years. More post-stage appearances by riders, that was the best part of the studio show.
