Those Treks look a bit "generic" next to the bright red Richard Sachs.

I spotted what looked like a particularly flat-topped fork crown before recalling you had received your bike, and couldn't make out the text on the downtube.

The bike at first reminded me of my Specialized Allex, one built by Yoshi Konno of San Rensho (3Rensho) fame.
