Boy, what a great stage! I thought AC was going to pull it off.

Happy to see Talansky get it!

Wow!

I generally do not pay any attention to the Dauphine but since I was DVRing the stages I decided to watch the last 3. What great racing. The 8th stage was the best. I can not remember a stage race where the 3rd place GC rider was given 2.5 minutes in a breakaway. Contador and Froome just looked at each other and finally Contador took off like a streak but it was too late to bring back all the time needed. Contador looked so strong, gets me wondering.

" Contador looked so strong, gets me wondering."

Wondering what? If the Froome juice ran out at Sky first?

I'd apologize for that, but I am sure I could not do it with any sincerity.

Yes

Either Froome ran out of "juice" or Contador had a fresh fill in his tank.

There is also the possibility that Froome was affected by his crash more then he let on.
Whatever the case it made for great racing.
