Why not dope pigeons? They dope horses and dogs and probably those jumping frogs of Calaveras County.

I think this line says it all: "Top officials at an association of pigeon fanciers in the country said they were shocked at the news." Followed by "Others in the sport said that they were not surprised that pigeons had been caught doping."

Interesting, but...

...the conclusion seems like a major leap, especially absent any human testing. That level of speculation/extrapolation borders on junk science. However, it's certainly an interesting avenue to explore. Maybe I'll volunteer for steroid injections... ;-)
