Nifty weather
Monday am it was 40F and I wore tights, a jacket and full fingered gloves to commute to work. Wednesday it was 90s and stankin' humid, I went throught about 4 shirts just commuting around town. Last night there was hail bad enough to do damage. Today thunderstorms have been so bad that I was driving on I-295 and cars slowed to 50 and put on their flashers. I was going to ride the bike back from lunch but it started pouring again and now it's coming down like hell, thunder & lightning. Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!

The east coast of late seems 'whacked' weather wise to be sure...

Its been whacky here too. Hot the last few days, high tomorrow in the low 60's. August was one of the coolest on record, I suspect October will be hot.
My grass needs cut every 3 days, but I finally said piss on it.

Well yeah
I did have a good ride Sunday and this weekend is supposed to be good. Fortunately I stayed off the bike today. I have 2 more centuries and a 60 miler to go this year and I'm expecting stellar weather.
Hope your recovery goes well, April. If you have PT/OTs, do what they tell you!

Well it even got pretty hot yesterday here. Popped 90. I passed on an invitation to add some miles on yesterdays ride which ended just as mother nature turned it on high.
April, do your due diligence information wise on keeping your dietary track moving if on pain meds for the duration. That situation is worse than the pain IMO. Prudent timing on the right foods / roughage and yes, some stool softeners. This is a curve you sure need to stay in front of... that is all I will say.
Well except feel better...

+1 on the stool softeners if you are taking narcotics

Thanks for the emphasis on stool softeners. I've been told I'll have prescription for it tomorrow. I'll ask for them while I'm here. Though I hadn't had any real food until today's dinner, only fruit and water. So there's not much to digest yet.
