What a stage today, wow!
This is what bike racing is all about what an awesome day, was more about brains then brawn....

When gaps first appear, they seem quite bridge-able, especially when the second group outnumbers and potentially outguns the first. But then it's clear organization is the key. Quite some desperate riders out there...

Cav's post race comment was telling
The desperation was evident when Cav talked about how he used up more Watts closing the gap than in the final sprint.

When the final split happened with about 30km to go, my wife turned to me and said "I bet Michael Rogers instigated that". According to the Cyclingnews coverage, she was right...
That's one of the most enthralling stages I can remember watching.
