maiden voyage!
a little early-season upgrade, trading up from a C40 to a C50...nevermind that both bikes are pre-2005 technology!
anyone interested in a used C40 frame/fork w/ 57.7cm TT?!

name stickers
i put 'em on all my bikes... http://vcgraphix.com
i'm also a bit anal-retentive, and had those circle-crosshair stickers made up to align w/ my BB centerline on all my bikes w/ horizontal top-tubes.

"circle-crosshair stickers made up to align w/ my BB centerline"
I am adopting that idea...
I like the C50 colors better personally, same size?. Seems like the 58.2 Top Tube 61CM would be more your size, no?
I will stick with my $175.00 2006 Roubaix frameset. ;)
Well the bike I mean... Not as short and spunky, but I get along with it. ;)

yep its a 61cm
That's one big reason for the change, perfect the relative TT/stem lengths.

Nice
Nice bike. Nice Sidis. I was thinking of some nice new white Sidis and new pedals this year, but decided on the more economical option of new cleats.
How's the bike ride?

ride
it's different to the C40, but very familiar.
my C40 rides like a very comfortable steel bike, just a little stiffer and a good deal more comfortable.
C50 is quite similar, albeit slightly stiffer thru the front-end and a little less comfy thru the back-end. and the C50s handling is actually slightly more stable.
the C40 is very stable in corners, does not have that really twitchy handling my time had (that i wasnt too keen on). the C50 seems to be have more intentional and stable handling behavior than the C40.
granted this is only from an initial 60-minute shake down cruise, but those are my initial observations & feelings.

Walter, you have the nicest rides. I wanted your Time when you sold it but the timing was not right for me. I like quick handling road bikes, but now I tend to use wide tires and I must be careful to make sure the bike will fit them.
