Supper is starting to smell good....

My wife is in the middle of cooking a nice roast beast for Christmas Eve supper with family and friends. The grand kids will be here in the morning for the wrapping paper destruction. Merry Christmas!

Carols by the fire...with Carol...

...at the Harraseeket inn in Freeport, ME. Cocktails soon, and dinner a bit later.

Grand kid #1 and Kid #1 dropping by, at home on Boxing Day, for gift opening and brunch fiollowed by the arrival of Kid #2 and grand kid #2, at noon on Friday, from Houston. Dinner for all + a cousin and his spouse, Friday evening.

All in all a terrific week. Merry merry, All!

Kid #2 and family are in Indiana with her in-laws, Kid #1 and his family are in FL where they live so it was just my wife and me. She made turkey with all the trimmings and, after cocktail hour, we indulged mightily in a great excess of food. One of the better Christmas dinners!
