The singer and harp player in Sister Sparrow are kids of a college classmate (who I believe also has a band).

I saw the kids' father at the eclipse mini-reunion this weekend and told him about Sparky posting a link to Sister Sparrow and he was blown away. He said his daughter Arleigh sang with his band at a college reunion when she was 14. He also said the band still tours occasionally and will be in Portland (here) this summer. He said if I get to the front and yell Williams '72 I'll be treated well.

She’s great, I first saw her on the Ken Burns PBS Country Music series.

Ken Burns work is excellent. Watch entire Coyntry Music series, lots of episodes too.
