Essential Cycling

I note that under the Maine Governor’s Order restricting business and other activities, Bike Shops are designated “essential businesses” allowed to stay open serving the public. Yay Maine.

Thats true in WV also. here in my hometown, 1 is open for service by appointment and the other one closed. Decided they would lose less money not paying salaries, just losing rent and utils.

Operations

The major shops in Portland (Maine) are open behind closed doors with curbside/home delivery service like restaurants. IMHO these are some great shops.

This is a college town and since the college is closed, over 50% of the normal population are gone. The town is dying pretty fast. Multiple restaurants have already closed.

Several Bucks County shops are operating like Portland's--curbside service, pretty much.
