6270 of up for the 72mile out and back [36/36]

15 miles up, 21 down, then 21 up an 15 down being an out and back I guess.

Even if its not steep 36 miles uphill would crush my soul.

There will be rest stops abounding. ;)

The climbs only have a few short sections that are 7-8% from what I am reading.

We rode the MCKenzie river trail a few years ago in June. The McKenzie pass was still closed, also to cyclists.
