"stuck on the flat section"
Don't most x-country ski bottoms have like a fishscale texture on the bottom for pushing forward etc?

Fantastic skiing on Saturday at Okemo. First time ever skiing all day WITHOUT lunch break!
It was that good.

Both Saturday and Sunday were fantastic at Okemo. Sorry we didn't meet up. Even the moguls that formed later in the day were soft and fun.

Triple Threat
Now another 10-16" tomorrow. More snowshoeing this weekend. Beats the CompuTrainer.

Coming down
Everything was shut down here today, may be part of tomorrow as well. I went to a Dr appt early when it was clear, on the way back the driving was miserable. I saw a big BMW SUV spin out in front of me, good thing not many cars on the road. I stopped on my office on the way back as I figured the driving couldn't get any worse.
We'll see what next week holds!

We got ~16" here yesterday
The power was out at work, so I stayed home and never had any issues here. The power is apparently still out at work, so I'm going snowshoeing this morning.

Our predicted three inches has gotten a bit closer to a foot and it's still falling. I guess I'll have to get out shoveling pretty soon. Ugh.
Good day for snow shoeing if I muster up the energy.

Deja vu all over again.
This thread needs a bump, with Nor'easter #4 on the way.

It's not supposed to amount to much up here...
...but I guess NYC and parts south are getting whacked pretty hard.

The local snow plow took out our mailbox, a bush, and hit the corner of the house.

Looks like the plow drivers are getting worn out from all the overtime, better keep the road bike in the stable today.

Serves you right, or was it left?
How far 'was' the box from the house before launching?

The plow hit the house. The mailbox was about 25 feet. Guy said a ped was in the road and he swerved to avoid. Sounds to me like he was going too fast. Everybody knows 4 wheel drive trucks don't slide.

Seems like that is all they do. ;)
I will put this here, for no good reason. Someone on our local craigslist has an extended Portland sense of humor. ;)

Sparky, tell the truth: you put that together from the parts bin that you're always talking about, right?

Actually, the braze-ons on the head tube caught my eye beyond the humor of it.
