"from your mouth to the Flying Spaghetti Monster's ears!"

Note I did not comment. [As to re-election] I said there is now way he could get elected way too many times.

His move towards the "normal" Republicans might alienate his base-Bannon can run off with them.

I just saw Letterman's Obama interview-it was very well done and moving, if a overly reverent. Doubt anyone will be doing similar with DT, other than returning him to reality stardom.

"racist are a special kind of asshole"

All bigots are the same, sexist, racist. All come from hate, just different "target of opportunity".

"Regular" assholes, your garden variety asshole, are also haters. They just haven't quite figured out their focus targets yet. They'll eventually become racist or sexist, given time.

He needs to be removed from office, slowly, inexorably for all the world to see and understand this is rule of law.
That's minimum justice.

He is behaving like a dictator.
He is promoting dictatorship.
Dictators around the world are acknowledging him.

Undermining the FBI, CIA, DIA, State Department - hell, the whole executive. But those four are staffed with people willing to give their lives for the United States, some of them will never be credited for that sacrifice except with an encrypted stone etching in Langley, VA.

How much of this dance with Russia is brinksmanship and how much of it is courtship?

It is sickening how Fox is going along with it.
And don't just say "oh, it's just Fox," this is qualitatively different.
Look up Sebastian Gorka on Lou Dobbs.

These MFs use adjectives and adverbs where no one ever has. Crooked Hilary.
Gorka said "Brave Devin Nunes" That's the leader of the Senate Intelligence Committee who rushed to the White House in May with "exonerating evidence" he had just recieved. You know, the "evidence" the WH provided his committed 5 hours earler. And the WH left him waiting at the door in a puddle of his own pee like a freaking cocker spaniel.

VOTE! Maybe you have primaries VOTE Tuesday November 6 is coming FAST, less than 290 days last I checked. ( http://www.howmanydaysuntil.org/ )
I know there are CyclingForum members, posters, lurkers, who live in Red states. Your vote makes a difference: Look at Virginia 2017: 4 districts decided by less than 100 votes. ONE was literally luck-of-the-draw. Still the house is held by ONE seat.

Get your like-minded friends, locally and in other states mentally prepared to vote. Ask where their polling place is. Do they have early voting? Are they registered. GET OUT THE VOTE, IT'S NOT TOO LATE.

Stormy weather

Interesting if they can flip Stormy and get her out on a book tour.....Trump sues to enforce a nondisclosure agreement he says doesn't exist? If he really had a relationship with a porn star at the time his wife was giving birth, and later paid her off using a shell company created for that purpose, that ought to alienate at least a percentage point or two of his base...I obviously don't know what the facts are, but those allegations are out there. And they are brought forward by the freakin' WSJ.

More seriously, Donald really appears a wimp as his conservative staff (like Miller) appear to be able to push him around. I'll accept the deal even if I don't love it, I'll take the heat...except if I don't.

And by all means, yes, get out the vote!

Am I correct that she can only be liable on a civil and not criminal level if she breaches?

There has got to be a ton of rich DEMs willing to subsidize that, even with triple damages. $130k is sushi money in the scheme of things.

If Stormy does admit the affair and the payoff...

...it will be very interesting to watch the Bible-thumpers try to rationalize that away, like they have with the rest of his bad behavior. Anything that exposes them for the disgusting hypocrites that they are is fine with me.

This NY Daily News editorial cartoon is too big to fit and it's risqué. But it addresses the evangelical conundrum.

"evangelical conundrum."

I want to see the rough drafts, he sez thinking of Frank Underwood in a few episodes leaning what would be left in that pic.

Yet another trend setting example his legacy is likely to influence in trickle down behavior.

Saw this; Super Callous Fascist Racist Sexist Nazi POTUS. So creative.

"Bible-thumpers hypocrites".

That has a real nice ring to it. :)

We know those two go together. And you can also readily exchange that for "Koran-thumper", (or insert any other similar little booklets).

Gotta love that OB 2013 guv shutdown they kept the troops paid for the interim, but McConnell sez no this time around. Not to mention the 2016 version when the GOP had the houses via the 2014 midterms.

Of course so they can shame the DEMS for not funding the military/troops. Funny that the houses/senate still get paid when the troops don't. Major fuck you fowl on that IMO.

Nat Park access although for those who timed their vacations wrong not quite as troublesome comparatively. Unless that is you of course.

I knew the DT Bill of love comment was a curve ball, I didn't imagine it could have been anything else.

DT of course tweeted it was OBs fault in 2013/16, wanna bet he thinks it isn't on the executive branch this time.

military shaming

I think Sen. Tammy Duckworth, a helicopter pilot who lost both legs in Iraq, has heard about enough of that:

I have to wonder that DTs last deferment may well be from a golf condition his dad. Or the podiatrist friend his dad golfed with?

Trump: 92 times since he started the job?

OB: 306-333 in 8 years depending on who you read.

Guess neither really have bone spurs...

Projected visits for Cadet Bone Spur is right at double OB. Unless his bone spurs flare up. 5 time 'looser', or was that was deferments.

EDIT: DEMs quickly capitulated or a savvy plan in the works??

He won't win again

Even if he does a jam up job he won't win again.

Oprah will win and give everyone a car.

Really, no one can beat her. She will run.
