Erik and I chatted/eMailed and Erik sez:

"I would think it has run it’s course. Thanks a TON for everything you have done."

So down the timeline she goes..

Now we will just have to listen to Dionysus instead of Hephaestus until he gets deadly on the bike again. ;)

Nothing but the best to you and your family my Friend!!

Thank you all. My family and I are slowly becoming normal again. I would like to pass along, I have paid out some bills for my daughter's family using your donations.

I held onto the money and it was a wonderful thing to have. Lauren's husband had an emergency appendectomy last fall and I did not want to use the money donated for her to help cover those bills her family accrued.

Long story short, the insurance is doing a fantastic job covering Lauren and my costs, but her family had an outstanding bill for his emergency surgery. I paid just over $3400 to cover that bill using donated funds. It is her bill also of course, that is what marriage is all about.

To give you some idea of the costs for Lauren and I.

Well my part of the EOB came in. The EOB I just looked at. Over $82K for my side, 34k for the OR, 18 for the anesthesia (glad that was there) and lots of other stuff. Her insurance knocked that down to $81 dollars. The primo coverage was one reason we waited until after the first of the year for doing the surgery.

I have not seen Lauren's side of the bill. I bet it is through the roof!! but the insurance will do it right.

Your help is helping a good family. My daughter and her loved ones appreciate everything you have done.
