May have the addiction under control.
Bike inventory.
2015; 6 out and 2 in. And only one of the two is new new. ;)
And the MotorCycle sold as well. does that count as 7 out?
Single car garage getting a little bigger...

Actually I forgot about a few, so add in the TCX for the Six13 trade 1/1 ratio there, and the Computrainer bike also is an out as I needed the groupo to sell the old Roubaix. So offed that frameset before it could grow into another bike...
Still a little embarrassed to say what the count is...
_____
A count shows I am at an even dozen for the first time in a while. Unless the tandem counts as two.
Although as compared to a scant few here that have a shiet ton...

...the fact that I have not included an itemized accounting may show I actually may have control over it. ;)
Someone may buy the Blade frameset today, Di2 Groupo inbound? Oops, relapse? ;)

I'm in good shape. 1 road bike, 1 cross ti bike,1 mtb. I have ny Poprad as a frameset and tried to sell it, got no interest. Its a great frame so I don't mind keeping it. I'm somewhat attached to it. Forgot about the trainer bike-an old Cannondale with no headset or brakes.

Walter, you don't have an addiction if you can still keep accurate count of what you have!

Without going out and looking/counting?
dddd is still counting since reading the thread I bet. ;)
I have the same rule for guitars and amps as bikes. too long with no use it gets recycled. Except a few choice vintage amps and Gibsons my kids will get. ;)

bikes
I'd post an inventory, but the auditors won't be in for a few weeks...
I don't buy bikes very often, I just don't get rid of the old ones. My shop is like the Roach Motel - bikes come in, but they don't go out.
In my aged state, I'm not really seeing any bike purchases on the horizon. Though if you see me posting that I just bought a Cippolini N1K1, please organize an intervention.

Bikes, one for each of us.
Firearms, I have a log... I just learned to never sell one. I have only bought 1 gun in the last 4 years though. And 2 bikes, one for me and one for my wife.

pfftttt!
you should see my tennis racquet collection!
my "problem" with bikes is when i run across a silly deal, i cant help myself.
my latest, the extreme power, i got for under $700 in near-mint condition including a CK headset -- what's a bike-nut to do?! FACK!!!
each successive bike i've gotten in the C40 progression as i've upgraded has been less expensive than the predecessor:
C40 #1... $2000
C40 #2... $1000
C50... $750
<a href="http://brown-snout.com/cycling/bikes/colnago_extreme-power/$_57a.JPG" target="_blank">ExPwr</a>... $650
at this rate a C60 will be almost free! ;-)

A c50 for under a grand? Did you have to knock the rider off it with a lead pipe?

bigger frame sizes ->
smaller market -> less price-competition!
the C50 was deal silly, but the Extreme Power was the deal of the century.

I am the same on extreme deals, just have to grab them.
Good example being the mint HMX Scott Addict LTD frameset for $550.00 3 seasons back. That was 7k retail new and was 4 years old when I got it.
And I forgot in my tally numbers for bikes 'in' # for 2015 another. A frameset I traded some wheels I built for. A CX Salsa Scandium with a AlphaQX20 fork. I did include it now built in my dozen count though. Thus adding to the green bike count as well. ;)
I still want a Colnago GEO Oval Master.
I actually have this down and dirty web page not updated too recently of my personal bike history in pics. the ones that got pictures that is, which is most and all of the higher end stuff.

Everyone wants a Geo something, don't they?
Current inventory is 96 Technos, 2000 Bianchi EV2, Anvil custom steel from mid oughts, Hongfu 066 (soon to be surplus frame) with the Cento One in transit. A guy I consult for just tossed a 3 yr old Supersix Highmod frame my way as well, the Hongfu parts to be transferred over.

Cento "One"? Seriously???
It's Cento
Uno!
Clearly, you don't deserve it, so send it to me and I promise to treat it with proper respect. ;-)
